Digital continuity for building assets

Departmental council: public project ownership
Ongoing engagement
383
buildings in the departmental estate covered by the initiative

Context

The project owner wants to establish digital continuity across its entire building estate: ensuring the data produced at each stage (digitisation, modeling, energy audit) remains usable by the next, with no break or re-entry, across 383 buildings.

The process in three stages

Digitisation

Survey and digital capture of each building's existing condition, a reliable basis for the following stages.

Modeling

Structuring the data into a usable digital model, consistent from one building to the next.

Energy audit

Using the model to objectively assess the building's energy performance, with no new on-site data collection.

Objective

Data that flows without interruption across the three phases, so the project owner has a unified, up-to-date view of its estate, at both building and portfolio level. As the engagement is ongoing, consolidated results will be published once it concludes.
