Alexandre Vautrin has spent over 12 years supporting the BIM transformation of large organisations in complex infrastructure fields: BIM strategy, project management, railway and building modeling, IFC structuring. A BIM trainer at engineering schools, he has also contributed to national BIM R&D initiatives.

- A design team consortium needed to share reliable, up-to-date project data, both within the consortium and with the project owner, without losing transparency on progress.
- Action
- Development of a project management platform with interconnected data, complemented by tailored asset-data control tools, designed to integrate natively with the client's systems.
- Outcome
- Shared, reliable project data, accessible to the whole consortium and the project owner alike, and a digital asset compatible from delivery with the client's existing information systems.
- Challenge
- The industrial design process operated in silos, with no digital continuity between design tools and the purchasing system (ERP), which slowed down supplier procurement.
- Action
- Support for the digital transformation of the design process, establishing digital continuity between design tools and the ERP, enabling resources to be purchased directly from suppliers.
- Outcome
- A continuous digital chain between design and purchasing, reducing manual re-entry and streamlining procurement. (2022–2023)
- Challenge
- A para-pharmaceutical industry player wanted to structure the integration of its BIM data and organise its digital transformation for the long term.
- Action
- Workshop to define use cases, a governance audit of the departments involved, and a proposed operating model to host the digital transformation, illustrated by a demonstration film on augmented reality for maintenance teams.
- Outcome
- Clarified governance and an operational roadmap. The methodology is now being redeployed with a second client (ongoing engagement).
